The Leaf Doctor provides quantitative assessments for plant diseases on various plant organs, focusing specifically on leaves. Users can submit or capture images of affected plant organs, allowing the app to calculate the percentage of diseased tissue present. By interacting with the app interface, users can input values for up to eight healthy tissue colors visible in the image. The algorithm then analyzes each pixel color, determining its proximity to the specified healthy colors to classify it as healthy or diseased. A customizable threshold bar enables users to fine-tune the representation of diseased tissues before finalizing the percentage calculation. Assessment results and accompanying images can be conveniently shared via email with desired recipients. Detailed instructions on how to navigate the application can be found in the About section.
